Return Policy

If you bought online: 

I have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. After 30 Days all sales are FINAL and you cannot return map.  I use a 3PL company to handle online returns so you will be shipping it back to a fulfillment center address not my Knoxville, TN office. 


To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in original poster tube. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Then do the following in order: 

1. Repackage your map and permanent marker back into poster tube. 

2. Email redhotmapping@gmail.com with your intent to return purchase with subject line "RETURN". Also please tell me if you have scratched or marked on the product in any way. This will change the address to return to. 

3. I will then send a return label to your address via email. 

4. Print out this label and put on package with purchase over other label. Or you can remove the other one. Packaging tape works well. 

5. Drop it off at nearest post office

 

If you bought in person: 

1. Repackage your map and permanent marker back into poster tube. 

2. Email redhotmapping@gmail.com with your intent to return purchase with subject line "RETURN". Also please tell me if you have scratched or marked on the product in any way. This will change the address to return to. 

3. I will either send you a return label that you can print off and then send back to my physical office or I will discuss meeting at a local place to drop off 

 

What about geospatial consulting refunds?

If you are not completely satisfied with the work I have done in performing any geospatial consulting services, I will offer a complete refund. I try to stand behind the work that I do. 

Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact me immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that I can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exchanges 

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have as discussed in steps above, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 

I will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please allow up to 5 business days for your refund to process once the product is recieved by our 3PL company.
